The Real Madrid de Guatemala fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Real Madrid de Guatemala's Carmelo Sifon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Delfim Brás was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emiliano Anaya showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. MEXACOMX's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Carmelo Sifon scored to the left of an out of position Delfim Brás, making the score, 3-0. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Carmelo Sifon got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Carmelo Sifon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid de Guatemala's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Sifon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delfim Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carmelo Sifons short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Delfim Brás to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 42 minutes of play, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Carmelo Sifon made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delfim Brás was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Carmelo Sifon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delfim Brás was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hélio Granja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Nicolás Guerrero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Sifon in the 59th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Delfim Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes MEXACOMX got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Seabra. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Sifon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delfim Brás was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 63rd minute, Cristian Santamaria made a precise shot to the right of Delfim Brás. MEXACOMX's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Delfim Brás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Sifon in the 71st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Sifon in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delfim Brás saved MEXACOMX from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Leopoldo Noyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute of the match Domingos Vilarinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Delfim Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Sifon, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Belchior Conde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Sifon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delfim Brás was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
