After a rather tough play, CA INCAS's Eduardo Xacintu got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Emiliano Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Cerilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Santamaria in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Cerilo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esteve Cerilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Sifon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Cerilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Manuel Jeréz in the 38th minute of the match. Carlos Manuel Jeréz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Esteve Cerilo made a huge save. Carmelo Sifon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Esteve Cerilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolás Guerrero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 90th minute Carmelo Sifon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Cerilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Cristian Santamaria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of CA INCAS booed when Real Madrid de Guatemala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolás Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The CA INCAS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Real Madrid de Guatemala were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
