Quitilipi's Federico Insúa got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélio Granja in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Cebo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of MEXACOMX booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Insúa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 minutes, Robustiano Clementi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quitilipi and the MEXACOMX players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Quitilipi got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Clementi. In the 36th match minute, MEXACOMX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belchior Conde to maneuver through the defense. Federico Insúa charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Insúa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Federico Insúa kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélio Granja was the one to do the kick off. Guaberto Cebo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Granja, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. But to his dismay, Hélio Granja quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Guaberto Cebo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belchior Conde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Hélio Granja came free, but Guaberto Cebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélio Granja took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guaberto Cebo. Guaberto Cebo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Guaberto Cebo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Seabra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
