After the first half Real Madrid de Guatemala were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Carmelo Sifon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Guaberto Cebo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Guaberto Cebo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carmelo Sifon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 78 minute of play.
