But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Gasteiz couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Alvise Micucci took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rosendo Millan to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Bisturi F.C.'s Federico Azzolina got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Porfiro in the 16th minute of play forced Bisturi F.C.'s goalkeeper Emanuele Donadoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Beat made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bisturi F.C.'s Federico Azzolina. Rosendo Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Gaeta in the 31st minute of play. After 32 minutes, Armin Motta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bisturi F.C. and the Altos Gatos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Armin Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Emanuele Donadoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Cordarrel in the 33rd minute of play. Bisturi F.C.'s Emanuele Donadoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Navarro in the 36th minute of play. Angelo Miranda's late challenge caught a Altos Gatos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Bisturi F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Miranda. Emanuele Donadoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Cordarrel in the 38th minute of play. Bisturi F.C. were furious when Filippo Maccioni was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Bisturi F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Altos Gatos FC:s goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Navarro was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Navarro got free with Emanuele Donadoni in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Bisturi F.C. defense, Esteve Gasteiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuele Donadoni. The Bisturi F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuele Donadoni should have stopped the shot. In the 54th minute, Esteve Gasteiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alvise Micucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bisturi F.C.'s Emanuele Donadoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Cordarrel in the 60th minute of play. Rosendo Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Motta in the 65th minute of play. Rosendo Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Azzolina in the 72nd minute of the match. Rosendo Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Micucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Alvise Micucci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosendo Millan having to make a save. After 90 played minutes, Altos Gatos FC's Edgardo Cordarrel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuele Donadoni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Altos Gatos FC reached it. The Altos Gatos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
