In the 9th minute, Endel Emane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Papagiotopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thomas Papagiotopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Tälli in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Osvald Levi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 27 minutes on the clock, Anestis Kapataidakis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ΠΑΟΚ FC! Diogenis Priovolos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The referee showed Peep Eenmäe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ΠΑΟΚ FC booed when FC Goodfellas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peep Eenmäe didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to ΠΑΟΚ FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Diogenis Priovolos hit a great ball. Christoforos Tochouroglou hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The wind increased when Diogenis Priovolos made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Thomas Papagiotopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oskar Tälli. Taavi Jõekallas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogenis Priovolos in the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Thrasivoulos Moisiadis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Taavi Jõekallas was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ΠΑΟΚ FC had won after a very even match.
