QUASAR AZULGRANA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Panos Mastrantoniou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panos Mastrantoniou got free with Ferrer Arias in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferrer Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoforos Tochouroglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. QUASAR AZULGRANA's Ferrer Arias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save QUASAR AZULGRANA from getting a goal against them. Remigio Gau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Papagiotopoulos having to interfere. Kostas Triantopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remigio Gau in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Papagiotopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. But to his dismay, Silvio Mantzio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. ΠΑΟΚ FC were furious when Anestis Kapataidakis was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diogenis Priovolos was the one to do the kick off. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Papagiotopoulos should have stopped the shot. Ferrer Arias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christoforos Tochouroglou went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The QUASAR AZULGRANA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
