Spectators: 7451 (Terracing: 5590, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Papi Saron kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the game, Alekos Korakakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ΠΑΟΚ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Universitario the free kick. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Alekos Korakakis got a free kick in the 7th minute. Kostas Triantopoulos made in the 10th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ilias Peristeropoulos. If Panos Mastrantoniou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Panos Mastrantoniou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillen Mijangos. Universitario's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Panos Mastrantoniou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Petros Giannakis hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to ΠΑΟΚ FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Petros Giannakis hit a great ball. Thomas Papagiotopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Papi Saron went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Guillen Mijangos was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Thrasivoulos Moisiadis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thrasivoulos Moisiadis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Universitario's Bonifacio Echarriza got a free kick in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the game, Christoforos Tochouroglou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ΠΑΟΚ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Universitario the free kick. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Christoforos Tochouroglou got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diogenis Priovolos to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Mastrantoniou came free, but Guillen Mijangos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Universitario:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ΠΑΟΚ FC:s goal. The referee gave ΠΑΟΚ FC a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anestis Kapataidakis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Universitario's Guillen Mijangos. 3-1. In the 64th minute, Bonifacio Morentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillen Mijangos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoforos Tochouroglou in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Panos Mastrantoniou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guillen Mijangos was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 79th match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Cueto to maneuver through the defense. Christoforos Tochouroglou took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillen Mijangos. Guillen Mijangos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Guillen Mijangos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thrasivoulos Moisiadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Bonifacio Echarriza hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Mastrantoniou came free, but Guillen Mijangos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Universitario had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
