Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Guillen Mijangos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Senijad Ibričić in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mouloud Djebar in the 4th minute of play forced Universitario's goalkeeper Guillen Mijangos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Papi Saron came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Universitario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Papi Saron couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, Bolivar's goalkeeper Bendjedid Harkouk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Papi Saron. The audience thought a goal was coming when Papi Saron got free with Bendjedid Harkouk in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mouloud Djebar charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mouloud Djebar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Papi Saron got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Papi Saron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bendjedid Harkouk having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Universitario's Bonifacio Morentin got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Mouloud Djebar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Mijangos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Papi Saron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Universitario's supporters rose to their feet, but Papi Saron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bendjedid Harkouk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Papi Saron hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Senijad Ibričić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillen Mijangos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mouloud Djebar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes of play, Bolivar's Mouloud Djebar made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guillen Mijangos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Universitario's Guillen Mijangos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mouloud Djebar in the 55th minute of play. Guillen Mijangos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mouloud Djebar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Papi Saron took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bendjedid Harkouk. Bendjedid Harkouk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Senijad Ibričić's late challenge caught a Universitario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Senijad Ibričić helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Bolivar got a freekick which was hit by Senijad Ibričić. Bolivar's Hocine Moll quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nesor Ennecon, made in the 68th minute of the game. Guillen Mijangos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mouloud Djebar in the 73rd minute. Bendjedid Harkouk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Cueto in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Vidal Cantabrana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bendjedid Harkouk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Senijad Ibričić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, Tedj Boudiaf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Guillen Mijangos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guillen Mijangos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mouloud Djebar in the 90th minute of the match. Guillen Mijangos was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Tedj Boudiaf capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tedj Boudiaf really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. 96 minutes into the game, Nesor Ennecon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Universitario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivar the free kick. The supporters of Bolivar booed when Universitario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nesor Ennecon didn't get a good kick on the ball.
