In the 28thth minute of the game Papi Saron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolivar's Bendjedid Harkouk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Senijad Ibričićs short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Guillen Mijangos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Bolivar booed when Universitario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Cueto didn't get a good kick on the ball.
