Damian Precioso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Breugel having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Gert Plaggenborg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathias Traa made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rafael Lambers immediately put the ball in play. If Damian Precioso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harold Breugel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Precioso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pannekoeken's Martien Crans got a free kick in the 19th minute. Harold Breugel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Precioso went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Harold Breugel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Francesco, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Harold Breugel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Precioso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Huub Barends charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Huub Barends the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Pannekoeken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huub Barends to maneuver through the defense. When Damian Precioso came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Piratas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Precioso couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Pannekoeken defense, Damian Precioso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harold Breugel. The Pannekoeken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harold Breugel should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Martxot in the 42nd minute of play forced Pannekoeken's goalkeeper Harold Breugel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arno Zonneveld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Piratas FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Precioso made a kick off. Damian Precioso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Harold Breugel made a huge save. In the 54th minute of the match, Damian Precioso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Harold Breugel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Huub Barends was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 55th match minute, Pannekoeken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huub Barends to maneuver through the defense. Damian Precioso struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Harold Breugel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piratas FC. Amadeo Francesco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Precioso got free with Harold Breugel in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Piratas FC booed when Pannekoeken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Kruit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harold Breugel made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Damian Precioso sent off a good shot on target. Harold Breugel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Precioso in the 74th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Amadeo Francesco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Harold Breugel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Pannekoeken getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Oliver Kruit hit a great ball. If Damian Precioso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias Traa hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, Damian Precioso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Harold Breugel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Piratas FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
