Spectators: 7482 (Terracing: 5613, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arno Zonneveld started the match with the kick off. Stephan Overmars hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes of play, FC LongeR's Edgar Czech made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harold Breugel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arno Zonnevelds short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Waldemar Zjawin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 19 minutes into the game, Rafael Lambers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Waldemar Zjawin. Rafael Lambers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When FC LongeR's Lech Skarpiak in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pannekoeken's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Arno Zonneveld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pannekoeken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arno Zonneveld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lech Skarpiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Breugel having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Oliver Kruit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pannekoeken and the FC LongeR players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oliver Kruit kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Martien Crans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Waldemar Zjawin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pannekoeken's Arno Zonneveld got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd minute Lech Skarpiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harold Breugel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pannekoeken getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Oliver Kruit hit a great ball. Harold Breugel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Skarpiak in the 55th minute of the match. Harold Breugel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lech Skarpiak in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of FC LongeR booed when Pannekoeken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Lambers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Lambers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Zjawin having to interfere. FC LongeR's Waldemar Zjawin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arno Zonneveld in the 74th minute of play. With 75 minutes on the clock, Huub Barends commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 77th minute, Lech Skarpiak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harold Breugel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 80th match minute, Pannekoeken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephan Overmars to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Czech hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Martien Crans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th match minute, FC LongeR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaroslaw Raszek to maneuver through the defense. Harold Breugel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Robak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pannekoeken's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Gwidon Wysocki scored to the left of an out of position Harold Breugel, making the score, 1-3. FC LongeR's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
