An unexpectedly hard shot by Garrido Michelena in the 10th minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Nechifor Oargă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nechifor Oargă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Selmi Uğurcan's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. When Challestone S.C.'s Selmi Uğurcan in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Selmi Uğurcan came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Challestone S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selmi Uğurcan couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gigi Câmpeanu to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Selmi Uğurcan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nechifor Oargă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Iordache Tutuianu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st play minute Selmi Uğurcan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nechifor Oargă. 0-8. Challestone S.C.'s Garrido Michelena got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Selmi Uğurcan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Nechifor Oargă skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Selmi Uğurcan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nechifor Oargă. That made the score 0-9 in the 69 minute of play. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Selmi Uğurcan sped through FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nechifor Oargă. The Challestone S.C. fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Challestone S.C.'s Selmi Uğurcan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 81 minutes into the match, Selmi Uğurcan notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Nechifor Oargă. Nechifor Oargă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute, Selmi Uğurcan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Challestone S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-14. Nechifor Oargă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garrido Michelena, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The supporters of Challestone S.C. booed when FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Drăgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Garrido Michelena came free, but Nechifor Oargă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Challestone S.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC UNIREA Alba Iulia throughout the match.
