In the 8th minute, Celedonio Tab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Santa Maradona getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Octavio Txurio hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Sture Ström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AC Superstar's Sture Ström got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santa Maradona's Tor Rosenlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Ström in the 27th minute of play. If Octavio Txurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tor Rosenlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sture Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Santa Maradona's Octavio Txurio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Hans Törnblom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tor Rosenlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, AC Superstar's Edvard Åkesson got a free kick in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Luis Santana made the kick off in the second half. Hans Törnblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Sture Ström came free, but Tor Rosenlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Harry Hernström fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Superstar's protests and gave Harry Hernström a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 minutes, Adam Skager mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Superstar and the Santa Maradona players grew even worse after the yellow card. Octavio Txurio hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Octavio Txurio took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Charles Johansson to make any attempt to save it. In the last second Charles Johansson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Octavio Txurio in the 92ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 95 played minutes Santa Maradona got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Txurio. The audience was convinced that Hans Törnblom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tor Rosenlund was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. In the 97th match minute, Santa Maradona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Tab to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute of the match Harry Hernström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tor Rosenlund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Santa Maradona were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing AC Superstar to leave the ground with a draw.
