The audience was convinced that Benedito Domingues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Johansson was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

A collision led to Caatiba MZC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Enrique Mazza hit a great ball. But to his dismay, Sture Ström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. AC Superstar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
