Konstanty Bury made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Remigiusz Galaska sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Radomiak Radom getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jaroslaw Niedziela hit a great ball. Radomiak Radom's Konstanty Bury proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Radomiak Radom from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Szczepan Ruzicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Konstanty Bury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Cerocki in the 59th minute of play. Radomiak Radom's Konstanty Bury played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wieslaw Cerocki in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Radomiak Radom defense, Remigiusz Galaska kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konstanty Bury. The Radomiak Radom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konstanty Bury should have stopped the shot. Konstanty Bury took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigiusz Galaska, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Radomiak Radom's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Kieca came free, but Konstanty Bury reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Remigiusz Galaska ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konstanty Bury was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a little luck, Ajax's Gigi Buffon got control of the ball when Kajetan Zaworski tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajetan Pisarcik in the 82nd minute of play forced Ajax's goalkeeper Gigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Ajax's Wieslaw Cerocki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Konstanty Bury made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 89th minute, Remigiusz Galaska left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ajax fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wieslaw Cerocki in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstanty Bury saved Radomiak Radom from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigiusz Galaska in the 94th minute of play forced Radomiak Radom's goalkeeper Konstanty Bury to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigi Buffon made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Stanislaw Grabowicz sent off a good shot on target. When the referee ended the match the Ajax players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
