The audience was convinced that Augustin Horea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 罗斐昆 was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 4th minute, 狄南源 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to 云南丽江魔鬼鱼俱乐部 getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. 姚骏坚 hit a great ball. Sebastian Matei struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. 罗斐昆 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sportiv Medgidia. 罗斐昆 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Horea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 尤扬然 in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goal looked a bit too open when 尤扬然 came free, but Nicu Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 尤扬然 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 罗斐昆 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Alupulesei in the 27th minute of the match. Ştefan Alupulesei scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 罗斐昆, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Flavius Băieșu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicu Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 尤扬然 in the 39th minute of play. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 狄南源 in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Flavius Băieșu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The supporters of 云南丽江魔鬼鱼俱乐部 booed when Club Sportiv Medgidia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Hidiș didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Blas Cambranes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicu Arghirescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Sportiv Medgidia's zone, 张枫宇 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicu Arghirescu came out of the goal and 张枫宇 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augustin Horea to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by 尤扬然 in the 52nd minute of play forced Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 尤扬然 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th match minute, 云南丽江魔鬼鱼俱乐部 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 狄南源 to maneuver through the defense. Sergiu Timaru kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 尤扬然 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nicu Arghirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 张枫宇 kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When 尤扬然 came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the 云南丽江魔鬼鱼俱乐部 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 尤扬然 couldn't finish the play. Nicu Arghirescu came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by 云南丽江魔鬼鱼俱乐部's 张枫宇. But to his dismay, 张枫宇 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Nicu Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 张枫宇 in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 尤扬然 in the 95th minute of play forced Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 云南丽江魔鬼鱼俱乐部 were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Club Sportiv Medgidia to leave the ground with a draw.
