A collision led to ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Heli Guedeja hit a great ball. Bengt-Arne Martinsson struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Guido Folgoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blomstermåla BK. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Cena to make the kick off. Guido Folgoso came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Blomstermåla BK's Olov Hääger. But to his dismay, Olov Hääger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Atauri Fermoso hit a great ball. Olov Hääger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Aleksander Ekblom made a precise shot to the right of Guido Folgoso. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Guido Folgoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Hääger in the 69th minute of play. Sakarias Melin hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atauri Fermoso got free with Åke Johnsson in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Heli Guedeja might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Åke Johnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heli Guedeja ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s zone, Bengt-Arne Martinsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Folgoso came out of the goal and Bengt-Arne Martinsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dennis Eskilsson took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guido Folgoso. Guido Folgoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Guido Folgoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Hääger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blomstermåla BK's Åke Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Cena in the 93rd minute of play. Blomstermåla BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
