The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The coaching staff of Blomstermåla BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lennart Nilsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 29th minute, one of Blomstermåla BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Blomstermåla BK. After some careless play in the Blomstermåla BK defense, Thad Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Åke Johnsson. The Blomstermåla BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Åke Johnsson should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Dennis Eskilsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blomstermåla BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CLAYMORE COUNTRY the free kick. Thad Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Åke Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blomstermåla BK's Åke Johnsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Blomstermåla BK from getting a goal against them.
