Filippo Di Girolamo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Secco went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Flávio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Maxaranguape - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flávio Costa couldn't finish the play. Flávio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualter Mattos during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Schuster's zone, Flávio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filippo Di Girolamo came out of the goal and Flávio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Camillo Travaglini made the kick off in the second half. After 54th play minutes Yuri Cordeiro shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Filippo Di Girolamo and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, Schuster's Filippo Di Girolamo got control of the ball when Marco Secco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Secco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filippo Di Girolamo came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Secco slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 64th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Pollastrini came free, but Aloísio Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Marchetti kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Yuri Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Di Girolamo having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Yuri Cordeiro notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Schuster's Filippo Di Girolamo. Filippo Di Girolamo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Marco Secco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camillo Travaglini kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Emanuele Orlandi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino Marchetti's late challenge caught a Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino Marchetti helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Schuster getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dino Marchetti hit a great ball. Gualter Mattos, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dino Marchetti was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 98 played minutes Schuster got a freekick which was hit by Dino Marchetti. Flávio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Filippo Di Girolamo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
