Flavio Pirro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Reigada in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Ernesto Johans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brown Puerto Madryn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Johans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Brown Puerto Madryn's Rosendo Fagildo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rosendo Fagildo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Brown Puerto Madryn protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rosendo Fagildo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 13th minute, one of Brown Puerto Madryn:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brown Puerto Madryn. A collision led to Brown Puerto Madryn getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Genaro Manni hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Gartzen Pons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Pirro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Johans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xalbador Gamiz was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Batista Liebana's late challenge caught a Brown Puerto Madryn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batista Liebana helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, GreenUnited's Batista Liebana got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ernesto Johans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Xalbador Gamiz made a huge save. Guaberto Reigada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd match minute, GreenUnited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacindo Llantaron to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Johans got free with Xalbador Gamiz in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernesto Johanss short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Xalbador Gamiz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gartzen Pons in the 40th minute of play forced Brown Puerto Madryn's goalkeeper Flavio Pirro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Guaberto Reigada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Pirro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Flavio Pirro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gartzen Pons in the 53rd minute of play. GreenUnited were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Brown Puerto Madryn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gabrio Dozal took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet as Batista Liebana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flavio Pirro. That made the score 0-2 in the 60 minute of play. The supporters of GreenUnited booed when Brown Puerto Madryn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Manni didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the GreenUnited defense, Ernesto Johans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xalbador Gamiz. The GreenUnited fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xalbador Gamiz should have stopped the shot. Ernesto Johans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xalbador Gamiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Johans in the 73rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, GreenUnited's Flavio Pirro threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Batista Liebana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Flavio Pirro made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Gartzen Pons sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute Ernesto Johans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xalbador Gamiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes GreenUnited's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amadeo Frisco who took care of the corner kick. Gabrio Dozal tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Xalbador Gamiz. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-2 in the 80th minute. Zarbonin Sotuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Pirro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elija Andres in the 93rd minute. Brown Puerto Madryn's Flavio Pirro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batista Liebana in the 95th minute of play. GreenUnited were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Brown Puerto Madryn to leave the ground with a draw.
