The coaching staff of Schuster protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Filippo Del Vecchio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Filippo Del Vecchio kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Inter de Melão's Filippo Di Girolamo threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ciro Amorim, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Camillo Travaglini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan de Almeida having to interfere.
