With a left leg Xalbador Gamiz saved GreenUnited from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Sava Vatrachki came free, but Xalbador Gamiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Вежен's Yuri Velkov got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xalbador Gamiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milan Harabaliev in the 33rd minute of the match. After the first half Вежен were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Macario Runs was the one to do the kick off. Gercho Mantarkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Allonca, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Xalbador Gamiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prokopi Basarov in the 61st minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Zarbonin Sotuela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GreenUnited fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Prokopi Basarov hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The Вежен supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Вежен would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
