Nelsinho Munhoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CİMBOM FC. 11 minutes into the match, Kléber Diniz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ali Polatkan. CİMBOM FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kléber Diniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ali Polatkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Fonseca in the 14th minute of play. If Hatemi Okyanus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the CİMBOM FC defense, Enrique Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Polatkan. The CİMBOM FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Polatkan should have stopped the shot. After 25 played minutes DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Hoffmann. After a defensive mix-up in DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ's zone, Yüksel Soysaltürk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelsinho Munhoz came out of the goal and Yüksel Soysaltürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the game, Douglas Abraão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ali Polatkan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hatemi Okyanus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Douglas Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st match minute, DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Ali Polatkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Abraão in the 58th minute of the match. Douglas Arantes hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Luís Fabiano Hoffmann was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. The supporters of CİMBOM FC booed when DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yüksel Soysaltürk in the 71st minute of play forced DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ's goalkeeper Nelsinho Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ booed when CİMBOM FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. İnanç Tellioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Polatkan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 77th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Felippe Vergílio. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind CİMBOM FC's goalkeeper Ali Polatkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
