After 23 minutes of play, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Nichifor Borogeanu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viden Kúdrev was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Blue avalanche's Viden Kúdrev got control of the ball when Costică Josan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Emanuel Strugure notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Blue avalanche's Viden Kúdrev. Kalin Kitev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Tiberiu Mischie made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Politehnica Timisoara fans cheered their team off the field, for while Blue avalanche had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
