Frank Jakobsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Fredrik Bennet made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Samurai:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hockeysnubbarnas BK:s goal. Roger Klemensson hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Björn Lövskog got free with Fredrik Bennet in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 22 played minutes Björn Lövskog rounded Samurai's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Elliott Bennet struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Pål Håkansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samurai. In the 29th minute of the match Jan-Åke Johansson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pål Håkansson skillfully saved the ball. In the 30th minute, Björn Lövskog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Klemensson in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pål Håkansson saved Hockeysnubbarnas BK from getting behind. Pål Håkansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roger Klemensson went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With 48 minutes on the clock, Vilhelm Ek commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Jakobsson to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Tony Nordgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samurai the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Klemensson during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 67 minutes into the game, Isac Alström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samurai the free kick. Isac Alström kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Tony Nordgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Bennet having to interfere. Roger Klemensson got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Hockeysnubbarnas BK booed when Samurai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Klemensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Frank Jakobsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Jakobsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fredrik Bennet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredrik Löv during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Samurai booed when Hockeysnubbarnas BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Löv didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingmar Myr in the 89th minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Fredrik Bennet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Frank Jakobsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Jakobsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredrik Bennet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andreas Rolandsson hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Tony Nordgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
