The supporters of Brooklyn SC booed when O.T.E was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arboleda Soberano didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermis Panakakis in the 9th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Charlie Bucket to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, O.T.E's Özen Baroğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charlie Bucket narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, O.T.E's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Barral came free, but Stamatis Banasidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Douglas Pace came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Brooklyn SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Pace couldn't finish the play. Özen Baroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Charlie Bucket tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stamatis Banasidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Hess in the 30th minute of play. Menelaos Anatolakis made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fotis Papadimas immediately put the ball in play. Stamatis Banasidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Hess, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Douglas Pace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After having played for 53 minutes, Dráuzio Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brooklyn SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio Barral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Douglas Pace had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes into the game, Arboleda Soberano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. O.T.E's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brooklyn SC the free kick. In the 61st minute, Arboleda Soberano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute of the game Dudley Heinberg made a throw-in which Titus Pierson played forward. Stamatis Banasidis made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Douglas Pace sent off a good shot on target. Julio Hess's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stamatis Banasidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Charlie Bucket made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özen Baroğlu in the 76th minute of play. The O.T.E fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when O.T.E's Özen Baroğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 85th minute Julio Hess shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamatis Banasidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Titus Pierson hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
