Mateo Tolino kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, FC Politehnica Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Joachim came free, but Tiberiu Mischie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 played minutes, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Aristide Hălmăgeanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aurelio Cortez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Politehnica Timisoara reached it. After having played for 8 minutes, Vinicio Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llavallol FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Austin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Aristide Hălmăgeanu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aurelio Cortez to make any attempt to save it. After 21 played minutes, Llavallol FC's Mateo Tolino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tiberiu Mischie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Fidel Joachim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Mischie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Udup in the 29th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristide Hălmăgeanu got free with Aurelio Cortez in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 played minutes Llavallol FC got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Milian. Aurelio Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmin Aluchei, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Llavallol FC's Mateo Tolino got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aldo Eguzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tiberiu Mischie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Emanuel Strugure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernan Magdaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Aurelio Cortez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eric Udup. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fidel Joachim made a kick off. After 50 played minutes FC Politehnica Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Ionel Zdrenţu. Aurelio Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Strugure in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, FC Politehnica Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Zdrenţu to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, FC Politehnica Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Joachim came free, but Tiberiu Mischie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Udup in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Udup in the 62nd minute of play forced Llavallol FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Politehnica Timisoara booed when Llavallol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Bras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiberiu Mischie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Joachim in the 69th minute of play. Tiberiu Mischie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Joachim in the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Politehnica Timisoara booed when Llavallol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Joachim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Fidel Joachim fired away a free kick, which, to Tiberiu Mischie's relief, went just outside the right post. In the 74th match minute, Llavallol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Milian to maneuver through the defense. Cosmin Aluchei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Hori in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Aldo Eguzki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC Politehnica Timisoara booed when Llavallol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Frichoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Aristide Hălmăgeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiberiu Mischie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Joachim, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Vinicio Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Llavallol FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Austin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiberiu Mischie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
