The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pål Håkansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bünyamin Ilgıt, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Tuna Şems received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Pål Håkansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pål Håkansson came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by CİMBOM FC's Hatemi Okyanus. But to his dismay, Hatemi Okyanus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pål Håkansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feyzullay İpçi in the 21st minute of the match. Pål Håkansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hatemi Okyanus went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Feyzullay İpçi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pål Håkansson was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Måns Forsberg was substituted for Björn Lövskog. After a rather tough play, CİMBOM FC's Bünyamin Ilgıt got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, CİMBOM FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Lenberg came free, but Ali Polatkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hockeysnubbarnas BK's zone, Feyzullay İpçi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pål Håkansson came out of the goal and Feyzullay İpçi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half CİMBOM FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ali Polatkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingmar Myr in the 52nd minute of the match. Feyzullay İpçi got in the 58th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Pål Håkansson handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CİMBOM FC's Cihangir Vakkasoğlu got a free kick in the 61st minute. CİMBOM FC's Ali Polatkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Myr in the 62nd minute of play. Tuna Şems sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Hatemi Okyanus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feyzullay İpçi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pål Håkansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Ali Polatkan came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Ingmar Myr. But to his dismay, Ingmar Myr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The crowd rose to their feet as CİMBOM FC's Hatemi Okyanus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pål Håkansson. That made the score 1-6 after 77 minutes of play. After some careless play in the CİMBOM FC defense, Ingmar Myr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Polatkan. The CİMBOM FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Polatkan should have stopped the shot. Pål Håkansson was a little too slow when Feyzullay İpçi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 2-7. Dag Bagge kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Veli Burçak struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Pål Håkansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CİMBOM FC. Pål Håkansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feyzullay İpçi in the 96th minute. The CİMBOM FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
