In the 11th minute of the match Casado Bernal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lúcio Mota skillfully saved the ball. Nilton Alcântara's late challenge caught a Riemannian's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nilton Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Riemannian booed when Paranhos Ariranha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias March hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Severino Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riemannian's Severino Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto de Amaral in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Andres Guijarro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lúcio Mota, 2-0. In the 39th minute, Renato Diaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andres Guijarro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lúcio Mota came out and tried to block the shot, but Andres Guijarro slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute, Dorio Herrera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lúcio Mota was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Alberto de Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Alberto de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Fernandez having to interfere. Lúcio Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roi Fernandez in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Paranhos Ariranha FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Carlos Alberto de Amaral hit a great ball. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paranhos Ariranha FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Casado Bernal was slow to take the kick. During this time Riemannian's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Riemannian's Casado Bernal to fire away a dangerous shot which Lúcio Mota despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Andres Guijarro kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Lúcio Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Guijarro in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Diaz in the 74th minute of play forced Paranhos Ariranha FC's goalkeeper Lúcio Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Paranhos Ariranha FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Nilton Alcântara hit a great ball. Riemannian's Andres Guijarro got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Renato Diaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lúcio Mota. Paranhos Ariranha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renato Diaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Riemannian's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Casado Bernal in the 84th minute. The corner ended in Casado Bernal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Paranhos Ariranha FC's Lúcio Mota did a great save. Lúcio Mota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andres Guijarro's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias March in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lúcio Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lúcio Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Guijarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riemannian walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
