Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Nautilus's Richard Ferreira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Dan Wassenius came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Oakcroft Thrashers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Wassenius couldn't finish the play. In the 3rd match minute, Nautilus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Furtado to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tobias Jernberg sped through Nautilus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gil de Medeiros. Sten Jönsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil de Medeiros having to interfere. Sten Jönsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Neiva in the 15th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Adrian Sillén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Tobias Jernberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil de Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Richard Ferreira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adrian Sillén. That made the score 1-2 in the 20 minute of play. When Oakcroft Thrashers's Tobias Jernberg in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nautilus's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nautilus's zone, Dan Wassenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil de Medeiros came out of the goal and Dan Wassenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Jernberg in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil de Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Sten Jönsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gil de Medeiros. Nautilus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sten Jönsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Jernberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Nautilus's Gil de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Wassenius in the 52nd minute of play. Sebastian Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gil de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dan Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Nautilus's zone, Sten Jönsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil de Medeiros came out of the goal and Sten Jönsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When %teams%'s Tobias Jernberg was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-4 just inside the left pole, 62 minutes into the game. Gil de Medeiros was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 66th match minute, Nautilus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelinho de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. If Tobias Jernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dan Wassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil de Medeiros having to interfere. When Tobias Jernberg in the 70th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Gil de Medeiros kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Sebastian Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Sten Jönsson came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Oakcroft Thrashers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Jönsson couldn't finish the play. Dudu Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Sillén having to interfere. Gil de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Wassenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 86 in the game by Tobias Jernberg from a close distance when the talented Gil de Medeiros managed to make a qualified save. Nautilus's players were relieved. Michel de Sousa's late challenge caught a Oakcroft Thrashers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel de Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. Michel de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Tobias Jernberg struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gil de Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oakcroft Thrashers. Tobias Jernbergs short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Gil de Medeiros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
