The audience thought a goal was coming when Bobby Connell got free with Adrian Sillén in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Oakcroft Thrashers booed when Lisburn Distillery F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Crouch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Sanchez kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Adrian Sillén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Sanchez's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 30th minute, Elói Alagoano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igor Sanchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Adrian Sillén made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Jernberg in the 33rd minute of play forced Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s goalkeeper Brian Lambert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s zone, Sebastian Eriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Lambert came out of the goal and Sebastian Eriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Jernberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Sanchez in the 50th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Sillén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute, Elói Alagoano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Charles Aranguiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adrian Sillén didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Sanchez went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the match, Igor Sanchez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Sillén. Oakcroft Thrashers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Sanchez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lisburn Distillery F.C. had won after a very even match.
