Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Oakcroft Thrashers's Jan-Erik Askberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Motu's Zeledon Acosta got a free kick in the 4th minute. Adrian Sillén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy Garcha in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Adrian Sillén, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastian Eriksson charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Eriksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Eriksson. The Motu fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Motu's Teddy Garcha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Motu booed when Oakcroft Thrashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Eriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th match minute, Motu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Florinio to maneuver through the defense. Teddy Garcha took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Sillén. Adrian Sillén dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Motu getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Pablo Anaya hit a great ball. Pablo Anaya hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddy Garcha in the 41st minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Adrian Sillén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesper Browald kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teddy Garcha made a kick off. A collision led to Oakcroft Thrashers getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Tage Tidén hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Sixto Paublo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Oakcroft Thrashers booed when Motu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Anaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Sillén made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Blas Florinio sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Tommy Kilstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pablo Anaya hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Teddy Garcha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adrian Sillén. Teddy Garcha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Oakcroft Thrashers's zone, Teddy Garcha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Sillén came out of the goal and Teddy Garcha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Motu's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
