Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Isidoro Rijo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Américo Severo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pinhote FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gil de Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Américo Severo went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Isidoro Rijo scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil de Medeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Américo Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Alves hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Isidoro Rijo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gil de Medeiros. Nautilus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Rijo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After the first half Pinhote FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richard Ferreira to strike the kick off in the second half. Gil de Medeiros didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pinhote FC's Américo Severo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Isidoro Rijo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Richard Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nautilus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pinhote FC the free kick. 62 minutes into the game, Américo Severo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gil de Medeiros. Américo Severo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Américo Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Américo Severo in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil de Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Américo Severo in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil de Medeiros saved Nautilus from getting behind. The supporters of Pinhote FC booed when Nautilus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Nautilus's Frederico Souto got a free kick in the 76th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Américo Severo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gil de Medeiros, 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Américo Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinhote FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Américo Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pinhote FC's Severiano Prates got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Américo Severo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Isidoro Rijo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 98th minute, Pinhote FC's Américo Severo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gil de Medeiros. Gil de Medeiros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Pinhote FC played a much better game than Nautilus and deserved their victory. The Nautilus players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
