To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Pinhote FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Severiano Prates hit a great ball. Pinhote FC's Higino Pessoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Pinhote FC from getting a goal against them. Sacha Tutov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Severo in the 24th minute of the match. 24 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Pinhote FC's Américo Severo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, Motu's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Rijo came free, but Sacha Tutov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Teddy Garcha came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Motu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teddy Garcha couldn't finish the play. Teddy Garcha might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Higino Pessoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teddy Garcha ran back to his position shaking his head. Higino Pessoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teddy Garcha in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes of play, Pinhote FC's Hermenegildo Teles made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sacha Tutov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonardo Deunoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Higino Pessoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sacha Tutov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Hermenegildo Teles might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sacha Tutov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermenegildo Teles ran back to his position shaking his head. After 45 minutes, Severino lago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinhote FC and the Motu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teddy Garcha was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Teddy Garcha made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pinhote FC's Higino Pessoa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Motu's goal looked a bit too open when Hermenegildo Teles came free, but Sacha Tutov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Pedro Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sacha Tutov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Teddy Garcha sped through Pinhote FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Higino Pessoa. Teddy Garcha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Teddy Garcha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Motu's supporters rose to their feet, but Teddy Garcha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higino Pessoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Motu getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Sixto Paublo hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Garcha came free, but Higino Pessoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Motu's Sacha Tutov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Motu from getting a goal against them. The Motu players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
