The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Endre Ábrahám in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihail Nazaria saved ATE AFC from getting behind. Americo Leheren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernhard Mondal came out and tried to block the shot, but Americo Leheren slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. ATE AFC were furious when Cecilio Salomone was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 30 minutes into the game, Diego Gentil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mihail Nazaria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ATE AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eriberto Remir in the 34th minute. Eriberto Remir made a great header on ATE AFC's corner, it was just that The Potters's Bernhard Mondal managed to reach the ball for a save. 37 minutes into the match, Endre Ábrahám notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of ATE AFC's Mihail Nazaria. Erdiano Peñuñuri's late challenge caught a ATE AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erdiano Peñuñuri helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to The Potters getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Erdiano Peñuñuri hit a great ball. The Potters's Alfonso Osorio was substituted for Endre Ábrahám. In the 57th minute, Erdiano Peñuñuri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, ATE AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Nedell came free, but Mihail Nazaria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the ATE AFC defense, Alfonso Osorio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihail Nazaria. The ATE AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihail Nazaria should have stopped the shot.
