Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Diego Gentil took the kick off in the first half of the match. Adolfo Bastiaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to DeportivoIndependienteMDP getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Santiago Roano hit a great ball. In the 10th match minute, DeportivoIndependienteMDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frichoso Ondovilla to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frichoso Ondovilla during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to DeportivoIndependienteMDP getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Frichoso Ondovilla hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Diego Gentil managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Potters's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Gentil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Sendoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Gentil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Sendoa having to interfere. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Nicasio Sendoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Gentil in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match The Potters got a corner. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diego Gentil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nicasio Sendoa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Endre Ábrahám went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Diego Gentil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nicasio Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes The Potters got a freekick which was hit by Wictor Hakim. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Bastiaro to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Gentil in the 63rd minute of play forced DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Nicasio Sendoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Potters's Habakkuk Beardsley got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Diego Gentil recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicasio Sendoa. Diego Gentil showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Habakkuk Beardsley got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Burhanettin Kutsoy's late challenge caught a DeportivoIndependienteMDP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Burhanettin Kutsoy helped the player get up and apologised. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Emiliano Juvenal was substituted for Adolfo Bastiaro. After 81 played minutes DeportivoIndependienteMDP got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Vito. Nicasio Sendoa came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by The Potters's Habakkuk Beardsley. But to his dismay, Habakkuk Beardsley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The The Potters fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when The Potters's Diego Gentil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Gentil in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicasio Sendoa saved DeportivoIndependienteMDP from getting behind. Nicasio Sendoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Holmbro, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The The Potters fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when The Potters's Habakkuk Beardsley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Potters's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
