The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Petter Fransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Deput in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Hedlund in the 31st minute of play forced Çanakkale's goalkeeper Ferdi Kargin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Gummeson made a kick off. Emanuel Holmgren hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 52 played minutes Malmö White Knights got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Holmgren. The supporters of Çanakkale booed when Malmö White Knights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Söderman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If İsmail Cem Eroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
