But to his dismay, Thiago Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, XV de Indaial's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Luz came free, but Júnior Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júnior Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Valadares in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of 100 Chance booed when XV de Indaial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the XV de Indaial defense, Luís Fábio Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júnior Neiva. The XV de Indaial fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júnior Neiva should have stopped the shot. A collision led to XV de Indaial getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sílvio Coutinho hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes, 100 Chance's Vicente Nogueira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Júnior Neiva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 100 Chance reached it. Júnior Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Luz in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Severino Borges made the kick off in the second half. Anísio Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Júnior Neiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fábio Machado in the 55th minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Edu Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 100 Chance's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edu Valadares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Edu Valadares fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 100 Chance's protests and gave Edu Valadares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Edu Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, XV de Indaial's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Luz came free, but Júnior Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júnior Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Valadares in the 68th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Borges during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vitinho Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitinho Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to XV de Indaial getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Vitinho Abreu hit a great ball. Júnior Neiva was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Naldo Marquez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Naldo Marquez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5.
