Spectators: 7451 (Terracing: 5590, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Severino Borges kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the game, Luís Fernando Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Júnior Neiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, XV de Indaial's Anísio Quintal got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute, Narciso Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júnior Neiva was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Afonso Baiano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Afonso Baiano really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 21 minutes into the match, XV de Indaial's goalkeeper Júnior Neiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Baiano. After 23 played minutes XV de Indaial got a freekick which was hit by Severino Borges. Arí Lucas took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júnior Neiva. Júnior Neiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Madureira in the 28th minute of play forced XV de Indaial's goalkeeper Júnior Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júnior Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fernando Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Júnior Neiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fernando Barros in the 34th minute. Júnior Neiva was a little too slow when Afonso Baiano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 5-0. When Anísio Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the XV de Indaial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anísio Quintal couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arí Lucas got free with Júnior Neiva in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to XV de Indaial getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Narciso Cavalcante hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso Baiano to strike the kick off in the second half. When Narciso Cavalcante fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored XV de Indaial's protests and gave Narciso Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Narciso Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Borges came free, but Igor Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Villa Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Igor Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Abreu in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Afonso Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júnior Neiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 75 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's Horácio Ceresso broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of XV de Indaial booed when Villa Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Túlio Souza struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Igor Camargo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XV de Indaial. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Augusto Queiroz during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, XV de Indaial's João Augusto Queiroz got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 94 played minutes XV de Indaial got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Queiroz.
