Gilberto Nofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janusz Zakrzewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Janusz Zakrzewski came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Bękarty Wojny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janusz Zakrzewski couldn't finish the play. Bękarty Wojny's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bartosz Pleban in the 20th minute. Anastasio Nuno charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anastasio Nuno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bękarty Wojny booed when C.A.Esparta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Nuno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Bartosz Pleban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramiro Aimar's late challenge caught a Bękarty Wojny's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Aimar helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Janusz Zakrzewski took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Gilberto Nofre to make any attempt to save it.
