Spectators: 7426 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 70) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adolfo Silbestre started the match with the kick off. Ceferino Miro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute, Harry Robson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The East Ham United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 15 played minutes C.A.Esparta got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Nuno. 16 minutes into the match, East Ham United's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Manuelo came free, but Theo Groom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes C.A.Esparta got a freekick which was hit by Armando Manuelo. Quentin Bell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Nofre having to interfere. C.A.Esparta's Gilberto Nofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Robson in the 31st minute of play. Theo Groom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceferino Miro in the 33rd minute. In the 41st minute Quentin Bell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Nofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, C.A.Esparta's Adolfo Silbestre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theo Groom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 47th minute Ceferino Miro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Groom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harry Robson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Quentin Bell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Nofre having to interfere. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Quentin Bell sped through C.A.Esparta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gilberto Nofre. East Ham United's Quentin Bell got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the C.A.Esparta defense, Harry Robson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Nofre. The C.A.Esparta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Nofre should have stopped the shot. After 68 played minutes C.A.Esparta got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Nuno. After 69 minutes of play, East Ham United's Quentin Bell made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Nofre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilberto Nofre came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by East Ham United's Harry Robson. But to his dismay, Harry Robson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. 78 minutes into the match, Harry Robson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Nofre. C.A.Esparta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harry Robson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. In the 85th match minute, C.A.Esparta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Manuelo to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the C.A.Esparta defense, Harry Robson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Nofre. The C.A.Esparta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Nofre should have stopped the shot. With his leg Gilberto Nofre managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when East Ham United's Harry Robson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The C.A.Esparta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. East Ham United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
