CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save CERRO PORTEÑO from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Giraldo Laiseca threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aldo Popolizio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 11th minute, Aldo Popolizio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, CERRO PORTEÑO's Heli Hontoria got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes, Vermudo Capetillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CERRO PORTEÑO and the Deportivo Popolizio FBC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, CERRO PORTEÑO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vermudo Capetillo to maneuver through the defense. CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Popolizio in the 25th minute of play. Giraldo Laiseca made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Aldo Popolizio sent off a good shot on target. Gianluca Popolizio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giraldo Laiseca having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Ciceron Valdivielso. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Giraldo Laiseca threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aldo Popolizio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Giraldo Laiseca came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Aldo Popolizio. But to his dismay, Aldo Popolizio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lonzo Corullon in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to CERRO PORTEÑO getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Heli Hontoria hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Aldo Popolizio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giraldo Laiseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giraldo Laiseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lonzo Corullon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to CERRO PORTEÑO getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Heli Hontoria hit a great ball. Heli Hontoria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lonzo Corullon in the 76th minute of play. Giraldo Laiseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciceron Valdivielso in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Gilesindo Colombres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phelipe Escarza acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Iban Amada. In the 86th minute of the match Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a corner. CERRO PORTEÑO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lonzo Corullon ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Chabier Borroel getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Giraldo Laiseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciceron Valdivielso in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute, Chabier Borroel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Popolizio FBC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
