In the 5th minute Frank Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nelsinho Bastos during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th match minute, ✪ XV de Umarizal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho Bastos to maneuver through the defense. Michel Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Pitta having to interfere. In the 10thth minute of the game Rodrigo Nestor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Jonathan da Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Lucas Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafa Pitta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Neves's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Rafa Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jonathan da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Nestor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ✪ XV de Umarizal getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Frank Paulista hit a great ball. The supporters of ✪ XV de Umarizal booed when CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Paulo Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by ✪ XV de Umarizal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Clemente Prestes was slow to take the kick. During this time CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's corner Clemente Prestes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rafa Pitta quite easily take care of the ball. In the 42nd play minute Michel Neves came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rafa Pitta. 3-0. The CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Cássio França looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Cássio França slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafa Pitta. That made the score 5-0 after 47 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michel Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, ✪ XV de Umarizal's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Neves came free, but Rafa Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Neves in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafa Pitta saved ✪ XV de Umarizal from getting behind. 60 minutes into the game, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Michel Neves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafa Pitta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Cássio França scored 7-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafa Pitta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafa Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio França in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Lucas Moura got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Simamane LuaLua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simamane LuaLua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 76 played minutes ✪ XV de Umarizal got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho Bastos. 77 minutes into the match, Michel Neves notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of ✪ XV de Umarizal's Rafa Pitta. Rafa Pitta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 81 played minutes CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Ramalho. Michel Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Pitta having to interfere. Cássio França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafa Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the ✪ XV de Umarizal defense, Simamane LuaLua kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafa Pitta. The ✪ XV de Umarizal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafa Pitta should have stopped the shot. ✪ XV de Umarizal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
