But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Corti couldn't finish the play. Mauricio Nesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Corti in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Papato Tatengue got a corner. Atletic Elooo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Saúl Menem ran over to the corner to take the kick. Santo Eudoxio tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Mauricio Nesor. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Emanuel Corti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Papato Tatengue's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Corti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Nesor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauricio Nesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Lawrence, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Emanuel Corti might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Nesor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Corti ran back to his position shaking his head. If Emanuel Corti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Nesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Lawrence in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Papato Tatengue's Sebastian Lawrence got a free kick in the 35th minute. Domingo Johans was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arnoldo Dacio. Mauricio Nesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Corti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes of play, Papato Tatengue's Grant Verga made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauricio Nesor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Atletic Elooo's goalkeeper Mauricio Nesor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Corti. Mauricio Nesor made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Emanuel Corti sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, one of Atletic Elooo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atletic Elooo. Mauricio Nesor had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Carlos Saúl Menem's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Emanuel Corti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Johans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Martxelin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Atletic Elooo's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Corti came free, but Mauricio Nesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Corti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Corti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Mauricio Nesor made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Emanuel Corti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Arnoldo Dacio fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletic Elooo's protests and gave Arnoldo Dacio a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Papato Tatengue got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Corti. Camilo Azubeli kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A hard shot by Rogelio Enmanuel from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Mauricio Nesor's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Emanuel Corti kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Mauricio Nesor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Papato Tatengue played a much better game than Atletic Elooo and deserved their victory. The Atletic Elooo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
