Emanuel Corti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Obregón Busto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Emanuel Corti took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Obregón Busto. Obregón Busto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Papato Tatengue's Emanuel Corti in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Obregón Busto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute Emanuel Corti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Obregón Busto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Johans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuriko Bernaldo in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Ornopata booed when Papato Tatengue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Corti hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Corti in the 25th minute of play forced Ornopata's goalkeeper Obregón Busto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingo Johans was a little too slow when Rogerio Logares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-2. Domingo Johans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calle Inda in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Eugenio Laincera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ornopata and the Papato Tatengue players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eugenio Laincera kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Corti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Obregón Busto was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Papato Tatengue's zone, Calle Inda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Johans came out of the goal and Calle Inda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Emanuel Corti notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ornopata's Obregón Busto. Obregón Busto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the match, Ornopata's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Lawrence came free, but Obregón Busto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Papato Tatengue were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Obregón Busto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Corti in the 51st minute of play. Ornopata's Obregón Busto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Ornopata from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ornopata's goalkeeper Obregón Busto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 77 minutes of play, Ornopata's Calle Inda made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingo Johans was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ornopata's Obregón Busto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Corti in the 82nd minute of play. Papato Tatengue were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Ornopata's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Saúl Menem took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Rogelio Enmanuel managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Emanuel Corti took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for Obregón Busto to make any attempt to save it. The Ornopata supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Papato Tatengue's performance. The match ended with a win for Papato Tatengue.
