The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gilbert Glapiak hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 7thth minute of the game Demetrio Vespa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Warmia Grajewo's Camillo Tullo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on Warmia Grajewo's corner Marek Wawrukiewicz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anselmo Cirulli quite easily take care of the ball. Fabio Cirelli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camillo Tullo having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Kaszubik in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Cirulli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Gilbert Glapiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Cirulli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Kaszubik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Warmia Grajewo booed when AC Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Cirelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Aurelio Barresi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camillo Tullo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Camillo Tullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Barresi in the 33rd minute of the match. AC Roma were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Warmia Grajewo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angelo Marcelli took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Angelo Marcelli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Camillo Tullo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. AC Roma's Anselmo Cirulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Kaszubik in the 39th minute of play. When Demetrio Vespa fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Roma's protests and gave Demetrio Vespa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, AC Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Vespa to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Kurt Kaszubik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Cirulli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Demetrio Vespa to make the kick off. AC Roma's Angelo Marcelli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Camillo Tullo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jedrzej Markowski hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Demetrio Vespa took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camillo Tullo. Camillo Tullo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Anselmo Cirulli came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Warmia Grajewo's Kurt Kaszubik. But to his dismay, Kurt Kaszubik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Konrad Japola was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Warmia Grajewo! The goalkeeper, Camillo Tullo, was totally fooled by AC Roma's Angelo Marcelli, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When AC Roma's Aurelio Barresi in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Warmia Grajewo's goalie prevented a goal. AC Roma's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angelo Marcelli in the 82nd minute. Camillo Tullo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Cirelli in the 84th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Kurt Kaszubik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warmia Grajewo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Kaszubik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aurelio Barresi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Franciszek Rasimowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC Roma's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
