Diamantino de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Cempa in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind INTER Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Kazimierz Gardocki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute Hélio Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Gardocki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes INTER Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Tomasz Pietrowiak. There was no doubt that Airborne FC were the better team. Airborne FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
