Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kajetan Dlugi started the match with the kick off. INTER Sosnowiec's Kazimierz Gardocki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Cirelli in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of INTER Sosnowiec booed when AC Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Di Fazio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klement Okraszewski charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klement Okraszewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes INTER Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Klement Okraszewski. Kazimierz Gardocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Cirelli in the 19th minute of the match. After 20th play minutes Kajetan Dlugi shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Anselmo Cirulli and just under the crossbar into goal. INTER Sosnowiec's Kazimierz Gardocki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Barresi in the 23rd minute of play. AC Roma's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angelo Marcelli in the 24th minute. The corner ended in Angelo Marcelli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but INTER Sosnowiec's Kazimierz Gardocki did a great save. After a rather tough play, AC Roma's Fabrizio Di Silvio got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Kajetan Dlugi came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the INTER Sosnowiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kajetan Dlugi couldn't finish the play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Kajetan Dlugi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Roma's Anselmo Cirulli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Radomir Haskiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INTER Sosnowiec's protests and gave Radomir Haskiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, INTER Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Haskiewicz to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Demetrio Vespa got free with Kazimierz Gardocki in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kazimierz Gardocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Barresi in the 61st minute of the match. Patryk Bykowski kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 64 minutes, Melchor Odon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Roma and the INTER Sosnowiec players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Odon. Kajetan Dlugi hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Kazimierz Gardocki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Barresi went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Demetrio Vespa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Kazimierz Gardocki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 minutes, Jacek Majkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INTER Sosnowiec and the AC Roma players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Jacek Majkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kazimierz Gardocki made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Demetrio Vespa sent off a good shot on target. Demetrio Vespa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kazimierz Gardocki having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Rafal Cempa managed to get in a good position for a shot. INTER Sosnowiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafal Cempa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Cirulli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
