After 14 played minutes Unicorns ™ got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Siniştean. 17 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Demir Rebi came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute North Port UTD were awarded a corner. Karhan Öktüre went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iacob Surdu during the 22nd minute. Yağızalp Akhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Papadima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Unicorns ™'s Aurel Huștiu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for North Port UTD. Birkan Sarik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Calistrat Mihalcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birkan Sarik struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Port UTD. 86 minutes into the match, North Port UTD's goalkeeper Yağızalp Akhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petrică Ţirpescu. In the 88th minute, Aurel Huștiu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and North Port UTD's Yağızalp Akhan didn't even have to move. Petrică Ţirpescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Yağızalp Akhan made a huge save.
